WEEK 1 🚪 The gate and its register

Why NAT, how PAT works, gateway vs instance. Lab: send three desks out and read the register; knock from outside.

WEEK 2 🏢 Buildings and addresses

One per AZ, Elastic IPs. Lab: fail AZ a with one shared NAT and with one per AZ; add a second Elastic IP.

WEEK 3 💰 The bill and the breakages

Costs, alternatives, troubleshooting. Lab: move 4,000 GB of S3 to an endpoint; fill the register; let a row time out.

🏁 Checkpoint: 🏆 Capstone: design egress for a 3-AZ app: one NAT per AZ, S3 and DynamoDB endpoints, keepalive under 350 s, a CloudWatch alarm on ErrorPortAllocation — and estimate the monthly bill.
